For this project, Hartung Paris assisted Lanvin and its creative director Bruno Sialelli for the launch of a menswear capsule collection inspired by the “urban adventurers” of California – particularly its cool and carefree skateboard scene.
Channeling the wild images of Hugh Holland’s 70s skate photography, the relaxed collection considers ultimate movement and a definitive skater style in its design codes.

For the creation of the line, together with Lanvin we embraced modern street style by taking classic skater cuts like flannel shirts and baggy pants and twisted them with luxurious materials like silk, merino wool and virgin wool. The intention was also to reinvent formal items like jackets by distorting them, adding zippers or cutting the sleeves.
We have integrated Lanvin’s iconic Maze pattern, reused the iconic Curb shoe laces and incorporated it into a two piece matching denim set giving it a luxurious treatment. The iconic “Mother & Daughter” logo is also featured on jersey pieces.
